Brief Update

I know I haven't posted in a few days ... nothing exciting is happening right now! It's raining a lot - checked the forcast & it's supposed to rain all through Friday night. Ggrr!

Oh, our house is now full - someone else moved in the other day. His name is Jordan, from Vancouver, Canada. In the business program & is only here until December. He's really nice.

Michelle & I have ordered out 14-lb Thanksgiving turkey - found a butcher in Killay who is doing it for us so we were superexcited (to the point that she forgot to ask HOW MUCH it iwas going to cost us!!!)

Classes are okay ... The Unsex'd class is kinda frustrating because the prof has turned it into a research course. We're talking about the French Revolution next class which should be fun. She keeps pushing for me to compare Wollstonecraft to an American woman writer of this time but I DON'T LIKE AMERICAN LITERATURE! I keep telling her this, but she keeps pushing. AAHH! You'd think she'd let me do what I want to do. So I'll go to the library today to work on that. Oh joy. Have class in 2 hours - this will be my Study Skills class followed by a guest lecture 2 hours later. Can't wait for that. You'd think that if I was a MA student, then obviously I know how to study. Whatever.

Did laundry yesterday. Am hanging some clothes to dry, but they still aren't, which means I have no dry socks & it's raining, so if I wear my tennis shoes, then I have to go sockless.

Oh, & I made Pad Thai with spaghetti noodles last night ... turned out pretty good actually!

That's it ... nothing else interesting.
