I Went for a Walk ...

I went for a walk today, after I got out of class at 11am, with Michelle.

This is what we saw & found.

First, we found a French market (they come twice a year) with DELICIOUS crepes and pains aux chocolates (i.e. chocolate & bread) as well as a yummy vanilla custard. We also found French cheeses, spices, purses, scarves, & candy. I had to call mom & make her jealous. We're going back tomorrow ... and Saturday (they are here until Sunday). Michelle & I are in heaven.

Then we stopped & saw the castle -

Then we window shopped ... okay, we did that all day. No exciting photos of that. We decided to walk back to the university (probably about 2-3 miles?) via the beach. Now come the fun photos of us trying to take pics of ourselves ... hehe

Then Michelle claimed the beach as her own -

Afterwards, we made it back to a bus stop where we rode BOB (bright orange bus) to the village where we proceeded to play in the kitchen. We had left over chicken from the other night & 30 eggs, so we decided to make a quiche with tons of veges & the leftover chicken. So we used 14 eggs for that ... it turned out okay. The crust was fabulous though!

I also bought curtains today because ours are an ugly burnt orange color. So I bought some sheers - one that was solid purple (we thought it was opaque) & the other 2 are white with purple flowers & circles. Now my room looks much better - homier, you could say.

And we just finished watching AMERICAN DREAMZ which was very stupid, but enjoyable because we didn't have to think about it.

Up by 10:30 tomorrow as we are going into town with the boys to do some grocery shopping. And then out to the Mumbles (fingers crossed it doesn't rain) to browse.

Classes are okay. Had my Writing in Professional Context today - should be interesting, though a tad boring at 9am. Study Skills class sucks, since I ALREADY know how to study since I DID graduate COLLEGE once ALREADY! Oh well ... maybe that means it is an easy "A" though they do grade with 70% as the best, 65%-69% next best & then down. Very strange here ...

Anyhow, that's all the news. Hopefully more pics to come tomorrow after our visit to the Mumbles.
